The 37m steel&aluminum passenger ferry, "Kanuni",  specially designed for the Bosphorus. The design provide safe, fast and comfortable transport for the passengers with high maneuverability and low emission. It contains green technology and disabled access. She made sail at June 2017 and three sisters,  made sail at April 2018.

The 90m steel sea-river type general cargo vessel especially developed and designed for the European short sea transportation for a Dutch company. She has very reduced light weight and energy efficient vehicle. She is optimized about air draught, main dimensions, light weight required power and environmental effects. Also has optimized fully box shaped cargo hold including air ventilation and can carry dangerous goods as well. She is under construction at Kuzey Star Shipyard in Tuzla, İstanbul and will be launched end of 2018.

Matesis is developed a new generation sea-river cargo ship mainly for the river-sea fleets of the European Countries and it is spotted that the fleet is very old and has to be replaced soon after new EU and IMO regulations. The main objectives of this project are; Replace the old fleet with the new generation coaster after regulations on harmful gas emission of IMO Tier 3, 4 and EU SECA, increasing cargo capacity by 20% compared to existing ships, reducing steel lightweight significantly using structural optimization, satisfying COMF+ acoustic and vibration standards for the living quarters, improving stability and seakeeping performance of the vessel by lowering the centre of gravity. 
During the design; FEM analyses, CDF analyses, noise&vibration analyses, energy management optimization (by means of diesel electric configuration) Towing tank tests, has been evaluated and prototype is generated.

The 90m steel sea-river type general cargo vessel mainly developed and designed for European short sea It is a modern, energy efficient and less lightweight vessel with simple construction. Air draught, main dimensions, power demand and emission foot-print optimized. It can carry dangerous goods (also as per cevni reg.) inside fully box shaped cargo hold.

Karaköy is one of the oldest and historical district of the İstanbul and today an important commercial center and transport hub. Also the port is the most crowded one in İstanbul. Because of this reason İstanbul Metropolitan municipality decided to change the old port to the new one. Matesis gave design and engineering services to the project. Construction completed at March 2018 in Tuzla, İstanbul.
